ABOUT THE ARTIST - Pat High
Pat High is just a simple womyn living a simple life, trying her best to do simple things well. She has been off-grid sustainable for 30 years raising ladybugs and shiitake mushrooms (235 producing logs). She also raises several other mushroom varieties and along with 7 species of ginger to make her ginger beers!
Lapidary, rock cutting and polishing, are major with mountings in pure copper, fine silver, sterling and golds.
The other contributing artists are her McKenzie Wolves. Fur is naturally shed, brushed, washed and spun with the help of a loving spinner next door. Teeth are naturally shed wolf baby teeth. *All wolves were spoiled in the making of this product!!!
Pat is a retired Schlumberger Field Engineer (lithological engineering) joyfully living in the Northern tip of the Ocala National Forest trying to live the Swamp Dance.
She raises several varieties of mushrooms and host the Florida Mushroom Festival at Ravine Garden's State Park on the 2nd weekend in January.
